"Every
human has four endowments- self awareness, conscience, independent
will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate
human freedom...The power to choose, to respond, to change." -Stephen
Covey
Novus
Novus is an independent living program
for young Adults ages 18 to 25 who are seeking independence but understand
their need for mentoring support. We assist young adults
on how to effectively be young adults while guiding parents on how
to parent the young adult.
If you or your young adult child is experiencing:
- An exiting of a therapeutic process and wanting to build more confidence,
- Challenges with college, or trying to figure out their next step
in life,
- A need for more support for social development,
- A network to reinforce recovery from addictions,
- Anxiousness with entering young adulthood,
Novus offers a process that doesn’t
feel like a program but engages a system that ensures there is direction,
education, and support.
Our approach concentrates on:
- Understanding the young adult’s
need and the family that supports them,
- Integrate experiential learning processes that
the young adult can apply the rest of his/her life,
- Establish and fine tune wrap-around services allowing the young
adult to take charge of needs,
- Supporting a person’s understanding
and practice of his faith. What do you really believe and why?
Growing to be an effective and empowered young person requires hard
work and constant attention. We know how to guide the family and young
adult through the challenges and celebrate the successes.
