Vision Statement:

We are passionate in leading and inspiring families and those who support them toward a deeper and authentic sense of connection and purpose. Achievement Transition Group, Inc. promotes and delivers effective resources to families experiencing difficulties during family-life transitions. We promote healthy, emotional and spiritual development, restore or improve intimacy, and aid in hearts healing, growing and leading.

Mission Statement:

In our effort to serve God, we lead, mentor, and resource families toward fulfilling their inspired hopes and dreams.

Philosophy:

Our understanding of families, how to help them, and our passion for them emerges from our personal journeys and our work with families through the years. Like any solid structure, we have a foundation grounded in experience, evidenced-based procedures, and deep care for others. We use Four Cornerstones to anchor our process.

  • We actively pursue God’s guidance our lives and work. Although we don’t emphasis religion per se, the awareness of God directs our process of being authentic and open with our selves and others.
  • Mastery promotes and integrates change. It is not the practice of 10 times but 10,000 times do true changes come about. We get better at serving families. Learning more about emerging programs that can serve precisely your family’s needs.
  • Exploration or risk taking aides in our doing what we know is right. Making changes and living with authenticity takes courage with the results being amazing. With having a sense of adventure, we can transform anxiousness into creativity and wonderment. We all are being asked to stretch ourselves if we want more from life.
  • Meaningfulness emerges as we reflect on our experiences, seek understanding from God, and integrate practice. Life makes sense when there is meaning. It doesn’t mean life gets easier but it shows value and strengthens our sense of being in the world.

Transformations are inevitable for families. They transform and the individual members change. Parents transform in parenting as their children grow. The hope is to see our children move through childhood and weather adolescence to eventually become healthy young adults. However, sometimes parents have to make the difficult and heart-felt choice to ask for help in having some type of intervention. Or, as the teenager becomes a young adult, a new set of rules arise and yet the parents don’t know how to navigate through this transition.

Whether your child has been through some form of a therapeutic program and about to return home, or you have a child struggling into young adulthood, there is a critical need and a wonderful opportunity to have your family undergo a meaningful transition.

But wouldn’t it be much more effective to have the support to guide your family through this transformation process? You probably have already spent a great deal of money, time and other resources in helping your child and your family grow in these challenging times. Protect the investments you’ve all made by receiving needed resources for a meaningful transition home or supporting your emerging young adult child toward independence.

Achievement Transition Group, Inc. (ATG) empowers young people, the parents, and others involved in this critical transition promoting the family’s transformation. We have to be honest with ourselves. When your graduate returns home, there are a lot of dynamics that have not changed. It is amazingly easy for unhealthy patterns and destructive behaviors to resurface. Eventually, the influence of a program fades.  Leverage yourselves and your child or young adult in shaping what is to become and not let the hard, earned progress be left to possible loss.
